The Taree Red Cross Club invite you to attend its annual garden party fundraiser on Saturday September 26, at the Taree Presbyterian Church Hall.
The event will take place between 10am and noon at the cost of $10.
Devonshire tea will be served for morning tea.
The guest speaker is Taree Red Cross Club member Katya Malouf.
Katya grew up in Lebanon, and she will speak for 30 minutes on her experience in coming to Australia as a child bride.
As part of the group's fundraising efforts there will be paintings for sale by Don Macinnis, and one of Don's painting will be raffled off and drawn on the day.
The trading table will be stocked with craft, bric-a-brac, jams and pickles and there will be some lucky door prizes.
"This has always been a very enjoyable morning so get a few friends together and come and join us," said Taree Red Cross Club publicity officer Libby Mather.
To give organisers an idea on catering it is requested those that would like to attend, please RSVP to Lyn and Don Macinnis on 6552 3080.
However they are happy for anyone to "just turn up!".
