Today until 4pm there will be a celebration of quilts at St Johns Anglican Church, presented by Kerry Wakely and Jill Buttel. Funds raised from the show will to go to local charity.
Valley Industries and Nature's Care Nursery will host its open day and Spring Spectacular event. Visit to appreciate the hard work of employees at the nursery and see the great range of plants on offer.
Starting today, come along and view a collaboration of works by members of Taree Artists Inc and Taree Scribblers at the Duets in Paint and Print. The exhibition is being held at the Bean Bar Cafe, 1 Pulteney street, Taree and Harrington Library, Harrington Waters Shopping Village, Harrington. The official opening will be held at the Bean Bar Cafe today at 3.30pm.

Today is also the popular 'Day in the Country' at 1676 Comboyne Road, Killabakh. The family friendly day out includes a huge variety of quality markets stalls - plants, local produce, a stunning choice of craft, gourmet food, books, clothes, jewellery, collectibles and great Christmas gifts; novelties and quirkiness no exception! Also available is homemade country cooking, art show and craft demonstrations, live music and free activities for the kids including a chance to get up close with local farm animals.
The day will raise funds for the community's heritage hall.
St Joseph's Taree Spring Fair will be in action today from 10am to 2pm and promises to be a great community day with lots to interest everyone. Market stalls, children's activities, music, displays and more will be at the fair.
The PCYC Gymaroos will hold two today at 1.30pm and 6.30pm, based on the Dr Seuss book "Oh the places you'll go."
Performance gymnastics allows gymnasts to demonstrate their skills and demonstrate their love of movement and teamwork.
The PCYC annual show is always a hit, with performers from 18 months to adult hitting the stage.
