What makes the special achievement even more unique is doing it with a mate, as has happened with Taree's Rose Tufrey and Audrey Elliot.
The two had plaques unveiled on Centenarians Way, Taree North on Wednesday, August 19, joined by family, friends and members of council, mayor Paul Hogan and Greater Taree City councillor Robyn Jenkins.
Rose made her entrance and exit in a sharp 1974 Mark 10 Jaguar, driven by Keith Smith, a member of the Taree Historic Motor Club.
Audrey couldn't make the unveiling due to feeling unwell, but was well represented by her sons, Richard and Peter Wagner.
Their plaques were placed within several metres of each other.
Rose said it was "wonderful" to achieve the milestone with a close friend.
"We'll be able to have a bit of a yarn," she joked.
The two friends met through the Country Women's Association of which they have both been members for more than 30 years.
"They help each other out," said Keith Smith of Rose and Audrey's friendship.
"The minute they see each other, they start chattering away," said Rose's granddaughter, Deborah Hogan.
