Locals Only II is on display at the Manning Regional Art Gallery until September 6.
With surfing a major part of the coastal lifestyle, spanning not just the sport, but fashion, business and social aspects, this exhibition explores the extensive region.
Also at the gallery will be Phil Bourke's "Turn it until the spirit unfolds," which will feature his unique wooden displays.
The 26 Storey Treehouse, a rollicking adaption of Andy Griffiths' and Terry Denton's best-selling book comes to life on-stage at the Manning Entertainment Centre today, Friday July 24.
Sessions run at 12pm and 6pm with ticket prices $25 for adults and pensioners, and $20 for students, U21s, friends and VIP.
As usual, a variety of markets selling all the trinkets, food spreads, gifts and other items will be on offer around the Manning.
Mt George Village markets will be on Saturday, 8-12, on Nowendoc Road, Mt George.
Nabiac Farmers Market will be on the same day, same time, at the Nabiac Showground Hall.
Sunday shoppers can visit the Old Bar markets from 7am to 1pm near the tennis courts off Old Bar Road.
Every fourth Saturday of the month at Bobin Hall is Music in the Round.
The cafe opens from 5-11pm.
Entry is by donation, so come and play or listen to the songs in a relaxed atmosphere with an open mic round and feature artist performing.
Bobin Community Markets are held on Sunday, 9am to 2pm at the hall.
On the Sunday the Australian Tenors will perform a concert at the Manning Entertainment Centre.
