TC Twisters 11years, ended their season as runner up to a very confident CJs. The TC Twisters didn’t give in, although they were playing with only 6 players. TC Titans 12 years, also fell short of a win to CJs. They also played extremely well, and will gain confidence from their experience. TC Tornadoes Intermediate 1, had to pull out something special in the 4th quarter as they were trailing in the score line. This something special was a determined effort, lead by Kyla Handley. The TC Tornadoes were victorious at the end of the game and Kyla was named player of the match. TC Vipers Intermediate 2, weren’t as fortunate. Their endeavors to overcome another strong CJs team didn’t eventuate, but they had fun trying. The TC Panthers Cadets went into their game with a renewed confidence after going straight to the Grand Finals. Unfortunately the Wingham girls put up a stronger battle to win this contest. Congratulations to all the Taree City Finalists, they have made the Taree City Club, very proud, in a very ‘sportsmanlike’ manner.
