Cr Hogan says he has "an issue with the delivery of just $1.35 million for Manning Hospital" and that the "pre-election promise of $20 million should have been delivered" by member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead.
"This is an issue and we - as a community - have a right to go on about it," he said.
"When you investigate the Budget papers I see the government is going to reserve $300 million for Rebuilding NSW, and that these funds are supposed to accelerate the delivery of regional multi-purpose health facilities," Cr Hogan said.
"Well $300 million is not going to go a long way across the State, and my strong information is that at Nambucca they are busily trying to compile a clinical services plan so that they can put $50 million to use for Macksville Hospital.
"And here's Taree - with a clinical services plan - and it was promised just $20 million. Once again the people in the Manning Valley and Great Lakes, Taree and Gloucester have been dudded and conned.
"During the lead-up to the elections, not just this last one, there were meetings in the community and papers were drawn out of pockets, and they said there was $10 million - now that was in the last term of the government - there was a mention that $10 million was in the budget, but I could never find it.
"Now they say there is $20 million and it does not even cover the requirement for stage one of Manning Hospital as I think it was $23 million from memory.
"I will help any group that is formed to fight for funding for Manning Hospital and they can count myself and Pattie in it," he added.
