ALLAN Faugeras stepped up to be the player to end Darryl Moscatt's run of 14 consecutive wins in Thursday night's first division competition.

Faugeras lifted his game making Moscatt play catch up but it was still there to be won at 14-all in the fifth.
A good length return and a fortunate yaw out of the front corner had Faugeras in front at 16-14 and he wasn't going do anything careless from there.
This result puts Faugeras into next week's decider where he will meet second seed Barry Ruprecht who defeated Ian Smith 15-10 in the fifth.
Smith was his own worst enemy in the first two games then put it all together to take the third and fourth before Ruprecht got home in the fifth.
Second division top seed Trevor Brown led the competition for ten weeks but will miss out on the decider after going down to Gary Smith in the second round of the three round finals.
At 16-all in the fourth Brown had the chance to square the match but it was not to be and Smith goes into next week's big match.
He will play second seed Mitchell Brown who defeated Wayne Rudd in four.
Justin Mather won the right to wear the Monday night first division crown when he defeated Darryl Moscatt in the final.
In an entertaining match both players had opportunities but in the end it was Mather's ability to finish off points that got him home.
The final score was 4-8, 10-8, 8-10, 9-3, 9-7.
In ranking matches Leigh Halloran downed Dillon Wyatt in three and Darren Sherry defeated Josh Robards in three.
Gary Smith won the second division title with a fifth game win over Barry Stevens.
Smith led at 2-1 before Stevens squared the match 2-all but Smith went on to win the chocolates with a scoreline of 9-4, 8-10, 9-7, 5-9, 9-5.
