Kyle, who studies at St Clare's High School, was selected for state honours after trialling as part of the Newcastle-Maitland Diocesan touch football team.
Remarkably, it's just the fourth year that Kyle has played touch football.
Already he has compiled an impressive representative resume, including multiple stints with the Northern Eagles in under 16s, 18s, and opens.
For his most recent efforts, Kyle is the Manning River Times-Iguana Sportstar of the week, earning a $50 open order at Iguana.
Kyle said he was "heaps nervous" about the upcoming state carnival, where he'll face off with some of the best touch football players from other Catholic dioceses in Australia.
However he said the nerves disappear quickly once out on the field.
Kyle said he would like to thank Taree touch, "for giving me the opportunity to get to this level," as well as his Taree Touch and Northern Eagles coach Darren Rowsell for his knowledge and guidance over the years.
He also thanked his family of Leanne, Grant, Emma and Jake for "taking me everywhere."
