"I didn't expect a lot for Manning Hospital in this budget," Dr Hyde Page said.
"I'm prepared to take a more distant view. We have to remember that the minister for health and the member said that it would be delivered in the term of government.
"I'm prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. However with that said, we expect stage two of the redevelopment to be well and truly going before the next election with stage three to be completed in five to six years.
"I will certainly be asking more questions of Mr Bromhead if we saw this amount of money in next year's budget."
