Sedlen believes that disruptions wet weather is having with matches as well as club's training schedules mean the ladder isn't a real form guide.

The Wildcats still have two washed out games to organise against Old Bar and Port Saints. The match against the Barbarians has already been postponed three times.

"Most clubs are finding to difficult to train because it's been so wet,'' Sedlen said.

"So the table's a little bit strange. We won't really know anything until everyone has played each other.''

The Wildcats will meet reigning premiers Wallis Lake on Saturday at Boronia Park. After starting the season strongly Wallis Lake have hit a few hurdles in recent weeks and were beaten 2-1 by Port Saints last start. They've had three wins and three wins and a draw from seven starts.

"I think they've lost a few of their players from last year but they'll still be strong,'' Sedlen said.

Taree held Port United to a 2-2 draw last weekend in an improved performance. However, the Wildcats will be without co-captain Jackson Witts for up to five weeks.

"He's gone to England for a wedding,'' Sedlen said.

"It's bad luck for us because he was starting to play well.''

Sedlen is unsure who will replace Witts this week. Rhys Christensen could come into the side in the backs resulting in a reshuffle. Josh Morris is available this week and he will slot straight back into the side.

Sedlen is concerned that his side is making it too easy for other teams to score goals.

"In the last two games we've gifted about five goals,'' he said.

"That's an area we have to improve.''

He added the Wildcats need to take full advantage of chances that come their way.

"We have to be more clinical in front of the goal,'' Sedlen said.

"That's something we'll be working on at training this week.''

OLD Bar coach Anthony Beckett has labelled his side the 'Jekyll and Hyde' of the Football Mid North Coast Premier League.

"Last week was typical,'' he said as his side prepares for tomorrow's clash against the resurgent Tuncurry-Forster at Tuncurry.

"We were terrible in the first half against Camden Haven and great in the second half. If we can put it together for the 90 minutes we can match any side in this competition.''

The Barbarians lost 1-0 to Camden Haven, the current competition leaders. Now they face a Tuncurry-Forster side on a high after a solid 3-0 win over Macleay. After a shakey start the Tigers have climbed fifth spot, although they have played eight games compared to Old Bar's seven.

"Jonathan Newman apparently has them playing good football,'' Beckett said.

"So they'll be hard for sure.''

Beckett has made a couple of changes to the side from last Saturday. Luke Collier and Angus Byrne are in line to come into the starting XI although Steve McIntyre remains in doubt because of injury.

Kynan Groundwater and Connor Hughes return to reserve grade.

"Connor's only a young bloke and I'm looking after him. There's certainly nothing wrong with the way he's playing,'' Beckett added.
