In other games Wauchope accounted for Wingham 31-20 at Wingham while Port Macquarie ran away from Port City in the second half to record a 32-12 result. The Sharks led 14-12 at halftime.
Port Macquarie lead the way on 24 points and remain unbeaten. Wauchope follows on 18 then Taree City 16, Port City and Old Bar on 15 with Forster-Tuncurry and Wingham on 14.
Wauchope inflicted the first defeat of the season on Wingham in reserve grade, with the Blues crushing the Tigers 44-4. Forster-Tuncurry edged out Taree City 22-20 while Port Macquarie crushed Port City 50-12.
Port Macquarie and Wingham lead the ladder with 21 from Wauchope on 20. Forster-Tuncurry has 17, Old Bar 13 with Taree City and Port City on 12.
Wauchope piled on the points in the under 18 clash against Wingham when winning 56-0. Forster-Tuncurry fought back from 18-0 down to draw 18-18 with Taree City while Port Macquarie beat Port City 38-16.
Wauchope has jumped to the competition lead with 20 points from Port City 19, Port Macquarie and Forster-Tuncurry on 17 and Old Bar and Taree City on 16. Wingham trails on 10.
Forster-Tuncurry were too strong for Taree City in league tag, winning 32-16. Port City edged out Port Macquarie 10-0 while Wauchope were big winners over Wingham 42-12, although this is the most points the Tigers have scored in one game this year.
Port Macquarie leads on 20 with Forster-Tuncurry on 19, Port City and Wauchope on 18, Taree City 16, Old Bar 15 and Wingham 10.
On Saturday in week nine Old Bar will be at home to Port Macquarie while Port City hosts Wingham.
