The day is being put on by Taree High P&C and the student representative council (SRC).
There will be market stalls, a barbecue, produce, entertainment and family activities.
Students will be involved with carrying out activities.
Child studies students will be performing face painting, hospitality students will be baking scones and other sweets and health students will put on the games and activities.
"It's great getting the students involved," Taree P&C member Annette O'Rourke said.
"It gives them ownership of the school and the feeling that they are part of something."
Other family fun activities include a giant slide, a jumping castle, photo booth and family favourite Mr Whippy.
The SRC will be running a barbecue, cake stall and second hand clothing stall.
School captains and vice captains Lily Minihan, Thomas Fletcher, Emma Croker and Nicholas Starr will fill executive principal Allison Alliston's car with balloons and hold a balloon guessing competition.
All of the community are welcome to attend the fun filled day.
The money raised on the day will go towards purchasing a new display fridge for the P&C.
If you would like a market stall on the day, the cost is $20. Call Annette on 0422 950 456 to arrange your stall.
