In other round five games Wauchope edged out Taree City 12-8 at Taree while Old Bar upset Port City 20-10 on a heavy field at Old Bar. Wingham had the bye.
Port Macquarie leads on 15 points from Forster-Tuncurry on 12 with Wauchope and Old Bar on 11. Wingham and Taree sit on nine with Port City on eight.
Old Bar were big winners over Port City 50-26 in reserve grade while Port Macquarie were too strong for Forster-Tuncurry, winning 28-16.
Wauchope comfortably accounted for Taree City 30-6.
Port Macquarie and Wingham are co-leaders on 15 points from Forster-Tuncurry on 13. Wauchope has 11, Old Bar nine, Taree seven and Port City five.
There were only two under 18 matches after Old Bar was forced to forfeit the clash against Port City. Port Macquarie and Forster-Tuncurry drew 18-18 while Wauchope accounted for Taree City 32-10.
Port City leads the competition on 13 points from Forster-Tuncurry on 12. Wauchope and Taree City has 11 with Old Bar and Port Macquarie on 10. Wingham has eight.
Premiers Wauchope bounced back to form with a 16-10 win over Taree City in women's league tag. Forster-Tuncurry proved too strong for Port Macquarie, winning 20-4 while Port City downed Old Bar 18-4.
Forster-Tuncurry and Port Macquarie are joint leaders on 13 points from Taree City, Wauchope and Old Bar on 11. Port City has nine points and Wingham seven.
All matches next weekend will be on Sunday because of the representative clash between North Coast and Canberra at Tuncurry on Saturday.
Port City will host Taree City while Old Bar will be at home to Forster-Tuncurry. Wingham meets Port Macquarie at Wingham while Wauchope has the bye.
