Two year ten students, Emma Campbell and Jacob James, and their art teacher Michelle Pellew, worked for an entire term to create a dairy inspired mural for the museum.
The mural, a landscape of Holstein Friesian cattle eating lush grass amongst rolling hills, will sit in the museum's dairy exhibition.
"We love involving schools," said Bob Berry.
"We want young people to come in to the museum and follow on with our area's history."
Emma, Jacob, Michelle and school principal Willem Horvast got to visit the museum to present the mural to president Barbara Waters.
"Murals bring exhibitions alive," said Barbara.
"It tells a story instead of just looking at an item."
