No matter where you are or what you are doing, you can now do it with 2BOB as your personal soundtrack.
2BOB is streaming straight from their homepage (www.2bobradio.org.au), with a simple click on the stream button usually all that is required.
Some users will have to download a 'Listen' tab they will need to click.
The decision to stream was made to enable access to 2BOB on the move and to try and reach more potential listeners who are outside of local radio reception.
"In our test period, I had listeners from as far away as Bunbury, Western Australia and Brisbane, Queensland streaming the Indie Nuggetts show and commenting on facebook as they tuned in," Indie Nuggetts presenter Chuck Nuggetts said.
"User experience so far has been very positive and we hope to pick up some permanent new listeners through streaming."
2BOB has been busy recently setting up streaming and introducing three new shows, 2BOB'S Backyard and Indie Nuggetts on Friday nights from 7pm and the new Beats and Grooves show on Sundays from midday.
Sunday Beats and Grooves takes the listener on an eclectic two hour journey through the 2BOB library.
This week on 2BOB's Backyard, the lovely and talented Anna Salleh will perform some songs live in-studio with Dave G, with the show a great way to check out a local artist from home, before you go and see them live.
