POLICE have charged a man over alleged indecent acts committed at a service centre in Glenthorne at the weekend.

Shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday (April 18), members of the public allegedly observed a 63-year-old man acting suspiciously around children at a service centre on the Pacific Highway at Glenthorne.
Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Local Area Command were contacted and attended the centre.
Witnesses later told police they saw the man committing an indecent act in front of a child inside the male bathroom facilities at the location.-
The man was arrested and taken to Taree Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of aggravated act of indecency.
He was refused bail and appeared before Taree Local Court on Sunday (April 19), where he was remanded in custody to reappear tomorrow (Tuesday April 21).
