THIS Sunday, April 19, community members will show their opposition to coal seam gas by displaying signs on their cars, bikes and caravans parked along 730kms of the Pacific Highway and out to Gloucester via the Bucketts Way.

"Our action on Sunday is running in parallel with community protest sites from Tweed Heads to Newcastle, Ballina to Casino, Dubbo to Boggabilla, Goondiwindi to Chinchilla, Kyogle to Grafton, Urunga to Uralla, Uralla to Twelve Mile Creek, Mt Lindesay to Ebor, Toowoomba to Tenterfield," said protest organiser Ella Baker of Old Bar.
The physical length of the protest means that it could potentially set a new world record.
"The overwhelming growth of this protest highlights the fact that the government has not listened to citizens. Coal seam gas has no social licence," said Ella.
