“This message is fairly blunt,’’ FMNC geneal manager Peter Daniels wrote in a message to all clubs.
“Football Mid North Coast will not tolerate any level of poor behaviour either by player, coach, match official, spectator or any person at any time at our pitches/events that contradicts our code of conduct.
“Every club should be prepared to stamp out any issue of poor behaviour before it escalates.
“As chairman Graham Pilkie has mentioned, some clubs have taken the admirable step of standing down players who receive yellow cards for dissent against match officials. This is a great example of clubs being proactive. Stamp it out. It’s not good for our game. We won’t tolerate it.’’
Meanwhile FMNC referees zone coach Ossie Bellamy has advised a second referees course has been completed in the Taree area.
“There were 16 participants from Taree Wildcats, Moorland, Cundletown and Old Bar,’’ he said.
