This will assist the club host major events including the Troy Bayliss Classic each January and national championships.-
Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said he was delighted Taree Motorcycle Club would be receiving this funding. -
"I have attended the Troy Bayliss Classic and inspected the track and surrounds and I know that this funding is very much needed," Mr Bromhead said.-
"The classic draws more than 6,500 spectators each year from all over Australia and overseas, as well as locally and is a great boost to our local economy. -
"Taree Motorcycle Club is very deserving of this funding, as they work hard to bring an international sport to Myall Lakes. -
"No doubt, the money will be used to enhance a very successful event and I will continue to work with the club to secure future funding.''
