CAREER adviser at Chatham High School Neil Locker, has been awarded the University of Sydney’s inaugural Careers Advisers Excellence Award for 2015 in recognition of outstanding knowledge, dedication and commitment to higher education.

“At the presentation there were 400 careers advisers, including most of the top private schools as well many public schools,” Neil said.
There was only one award given, consisting of a certificate, a vintage bottle of Moet and a $500 prize.
“Former student, Iain Wood nominated me and he represented our school with distinction,” Neil said.
“He is one of their top few student ambassadors. Iain is a third year engineering student and is treasurer of the Sydney University Sailing Club.
“At present he is competing in the World 18 foot sailing championships.”
