So said Greater Taree City Council's young citizen of the year, Caitlin McLeod.
Caitlin is involved with a number of community organisations. She has been a key member of the Manning Youth Action Team (MYAT) since 2013 while last year she was elected to the NSW Young Persons Youth Week Advisory Committee for 2015. As part of a State committee Caitlin will assist in planning National Youth Week activities and help form ideas for local community celebrations.
She has also made a number of musical and environmental contributions to the committee and performed at the library's Live 'n' Loud concerts and Summerfest.
She is a member of the Manning Clean Water Action Group and has been head of Taree High School's environmental committee.
Caitlin acknowledged the support she receives from Taree High School.
"I'm doing what I love doing,'' she said.
