Flynn has donated his hair to the Princess Charlotte Alopecia Program.
Flynn had never had a haircuit before, resulting in beautifully kept, long blonde hair.
To celebrate his hair donation, the Small family held a party for family and friends, where they could donate and see Flynn have his hair cut for the first time.
Before the cut, Flynn's mother Janelle Small felt like she was more nervous than Flynn.
The hairdresser for the occasion was Kylie Brudar of Clippers Salon. A special choice, as Janelle remembers her eldest son Liam had his first hair cut by Kylie to.
The first snip was kept as a keepsake for Janelle.
Though Janelle then had enough courage with Kylie's assistance, to cut off the whole lot.
Kylie then got to work, and after five minutes Flynn had a handsome new hairdo.
Admitting it "felt funny" having his hair cut off, Flynn looked in to the mirror at his first freshly cut hair and smiled.
"Through out the whole thing, he's been holding on to that it's going to someone's little princess" said Flynn's dad Scott.
Flynn's donation will go towards making an affordable wig, to help boost a little girl's self esteem after loosing her own hair, said mum Janelle.
The Princess Charlotte Alopecia program is part of Variety the children's charity.
