This follows a direction from the Country Rugby League this week.
Country Rugby League chief executive Terry Quinn and chairman John Anderson will be present at the meeting as will representatives from the Macleay club.
Group Three president Wayne Bridge expects the meeting will be held in early December.
Mr Bridge said he isn't surprised by the CRL's intervention. He was contacted by Mr Quinn at the CRL conference held this week in Wagga.
Group Three clubs voted 15-5 at the annual meeting last Sunday to exclude Macleay from the competition. Macleay had four representatives at the meeting - president Willy Lockwood, secretary Bruce Cain, former president Mike Spalding and Kempsey Shire Council mayor Liz Campbell.
In October Group Three's management committee excluded Macleay - the 2014 premiers - from the competition after the club lost all criteria points following separate incidents during the season.
Macleay was admitted into Group Three at last year's annual meeting after previously playing in Group Two.
The general committee will again vote on the matter.
Mr Bridge expects that this will be the end of the matter, whichever way the vote goes.
