From 10am to noon the club will offer free tuition in the basics of golf for anyone who wants to have a go.
Club professional Wayne Dodd will be offering tips to interested new golfers of any age and the practice areas will be set up for some putting and chipping contests.
There will be a free sausage sizzle from 12.30pm for those who have registered and that will be followed by the opportunity to play some golf free of charge up until 4pm.
All that will be required is suitable closed footwear as the club will provide all the needed equipment.
Clubs, balls and buggies will be on loan free of charge during this time
To top it off there will be a lucky draw from those registered on the day with a prize of six months free golfing membership for the winner if they are present at the barbecue at 12.30pm. All that is required to register is to fill out the form which will be available on the day.
The club is also taking the opportunity to use this barbecue to welcome more than 50 new members who have joined in recent months.
