If adopted by club delegates the pre-season will start on Saturday March 14 at the Regional Stadium at Port Macquarie for northern clubs, with the southern clubs to play on Sunday March 15 at the Harry Elliott Oval at Tuncurry.
The losing teams from the first round will then clash for the consolation matches on Saturday March 21 at Old Bar with the winners to play off for the XX Trophies Cup on the Sunday at either Wauchope or Port Macquarie.
There will be a break for Easter with the first round to kick off the weekend of April 11. The season launch will be at the Wingham Services Club on Friday March 27.
Group Two and Group Three will clash in the annual representative fixture on Anzac Day. Semi-finals will start the weekend of August 8 with the grand final on Sunday August 30 and the presentation on September 5 at Wingham.
This will mean the final will clash with Taree Cup day on Sunday August 23. However, Group Three secretary Barrie Smith said this could be played on the Saturday should a southern club be the home team.
Mr Smith said there will be Sunday football each week of the competition even though Forster-Tuncurry is the only club to nominate for Sunday games.
Meanwhile the meeting will also deal with an application from Hastings League club Kendall to play in the under 18s in 2015.
Meanwhile Macleay Mustangs are expected to seek admission into the 2015 Group Three Rugby League competition.
It is understood delegates from the club will seek permission from Group Three president Wayne Bridge to attend Sunday’s annual meeting..
Macleay was excluded from the competition last month by the Group Three management after losing all criteria points following a string of incidents in 2014. This was just weeks after Macleay won the Group Three grand final.
The club’s annual meeting was to be held this week and it is believed officials have met with Kempsey Shire mayor Liz Campbell to discuss a business plan. Club officials have previously met with Country Rugby League CEO Terry Quinn.
For the club play in Group Three next year the ruling of the Group Three management would have to be overturned at Sunday’s meeting.
Macleay played in Group Two until this year.
A seven team draw will be presented to Sunday’s meeting. This won’t include the Mustangs.
The result of Macleay’s bid to play in Group Three next year will appear on this website on Sunday afternoon.
