THIS year's Lakeside Festival Forster-Tuncurry is set to rock music lovers on November 1.
One of the acts on this year's bill is a band that proved to be the surprise packet at the recent Wingham Akoostik Festival, Newcastle seven piece Holly Who.
Holly Who were declared the band to watch at the Akoostik festival by Wingham Chronicle journalist Sam Brownrigg, who said they were 'the surprise band of the weekend and one to watch for the future'.
Sam praised their performance and enthusiasm on the Wingham stage.
"This high energy band from Newcastle kicked off the Saturday evening headliners and seemed truly humbled to be sharing the stage with some of Australia's top artists."
The Lakeside Festival Forster Tuncurry takes place on the picturesque shores of Wallis Lake tomorrow (Saturday) November 1.
The festival is a not for profit event with all funds from the $5 admission being channeled directly to next year's festival.
