The store ran a raffle over the last few weeks to help raise money for Dotties Team, who will be taking part in next month's Manning Valley Relay for Life event.
The prize was a vintage Bushells pedal car, with Old Bar resident Cheryl Ord the lucky winner.
Cheryl said that she has one granddaughter and another grandchild on the way, so they will thoroughly enjoy the prize.
The IGA raffle raised $718.30 for Dotties Team, adding to the $11,000-plus the team has already raised this year.
The lady behind the team name is Old Bar resident Dottie Schulz, a 91-year-old cancer surivor, who is one of a number of survivors in the team.
She plans to take part in this year's Relay For Life with her teammates, as she did the last time the event was held in Taree in 2010. Dottie said it made her day to see people like IGA supporting her team.
"It means a great deal for me. The whole Relay for Life is very special for me, having had cancer and survived," she said.
"And we hope there is an answer to cancer in the research."
Dottie was diagnosed with cancer in 2000, but is still fighting fit to this day.
"I'm cancer free. I had nearly three years of chemotherapy in my body, but I'm still here," she said.
"The doctors kept telling me there was no hope, but here I am."
This fighting spirit shone through when she took part in her last Relay For Life at the age of 87.
"I did 17 laps in 2010 and we raised the most money of any team that year," she said.
"And this year I hope we can improve on that and I think those girls can do it."
With the return of a Relay for Life event to Taree, Dottie said it was great to resurrect the name and concept.
"It means a lot that they did that for me, having the team named after me and being their figurehead," she said.
The Manning Valley (Taree) Relay for Life event will be held on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9 at the Manning Aquatic Leisure Centre.
