Manning River Agricultural and Horticultural Society president Milton Johnston was pleased that all the volunteers' hard work had paid off.
"It was an extremely successful show and basically it was an all-round success," he said.
"All our horse entries were well patronised, some of the horses were the best we've ever had and the cows were also high quality,
"Motor sport kept the crowd entertained and the fireworks were brilliant, and our new event, the Young Farmers Challenge, had a great response.
"Basically everything we did went well, and I'd like to thank the committee and all the competitors, judges and volunteers who helped to make it happen, especially our caretaker Kay Parker."
Mr Johnston said there were a number of highlights, but two in particular rated a special mention.
"The whole show had many, but if there was a highlight it would be both the fireworks and the car shows as anything that makes a noise people have to watch it," he said.
"And on the Sunday we had a dog show with 330 entries and you could really say that was a highlight as well."
Mr Johnston said the event was blessed by fine weather.
"It was great weather and there was no sign of rain, it was just terrific for the show," he said.
With new attractions such as the Bangerz Race and the Young Farmers Challenge, Mr Johnston said crowd numbers had risen on last year.
"Our overall gate was $25,000, which was a little higher gate than last year," he said.
"Everyone I spoke to said it was a high quality show, and we're so pleased with how it went."
