Alongside the Australian musical legends, multi-instrumentalist Blake Noble returns to his homeland from his adopted city of Seattle, USA, to join the festival line-up.
The full list of artists boasts more than 30 acts, including Caravana Sun, Harry Hookey, Sara Tindley, Mojo Bluesman, AFRO Moses, Tom Richardson, Galleri, Floyd Vincent, and the Swamp Stompers.
Alongside the musical performances, the festival includes a vibrant array of activities and entertainment, such as circus performances, roving entertainers, great food and market stalls and a variety of free workshops.
There are fun activities for kids too in a chill out zone with colourful candle making, weaving stations, mobile and wand making, bubble blowing, beading and wire work.
Festival organiser Donna Ballard said this will be a place for parents to relax and for kids to have fun, before going to listen to more music and explore the vibrant market stalls.
This year the Akoostik festival will be run at the Wingham Showground over three days, kicking off on Friday night, with onsite camping available and bar facilities operating on Saturday and Sunday.
Other performers over the weekend include Holly Who, Suntara, The Travelling Teardrops, Matt Zarb, The Girl Folder, The Last Train, Up in Annie’s Room, Harrys Lookout, Jake Davey and Peggy van Zalm.
Tickets to Akoostik are on sale now. Earlybird prices just $15 to $45.
