All current and former club members are invited to attend the celebration at Michael's Chinese Restaurant in Old Bar Tavern.
Club secretary Clemence Wise is hoping the event will attract a large number of people.
She says the club started early in 1974 with 45 members and was then known as the Manning Adult Riding Association as members had to be over 17 years of age to join.
"In June 1984 the club was renamed the Manning Trail Horse Riders Club. Trail rides were held on weekend days on private properties or in local forests and often finished with a barbecue back at the departure point or at a designated lunch spot at one of the many local lookouts," Clemence explained.
"Many of our current members have been with the club since earlier days. With the growth of our community and less access to properties, our trail rides are mostly in local forests but we can still manage a three-hour ride along the trails and in summer we manage a beach ride or two."
