These figures have been updated from the 2.5 magnitude quake and one kilometre depth initially indicated.
Most people who felt or heard the tremor originally put it down to the heavy rain, thunder and winds being experienced at the time.
A number of Harrington residents reported feeling their homes shake for a few seconds with tables and windows rattling.
The tremor was also felt at Crowdy Head where a couple say it felt and sounded like three B-doubles driving past their home.
Mitchells Island residents have said their houses shook but assumed, at the time, it had been the wind, rain and thunder.
The quake was also reportedly felt at Coralville, Moorland, Johns River and North Haven.
Many Taree and Old Bar residents say they didn't feel anything but some say they heard what sounded like thunder.
No damage has been reported.
The final coordinates of the quake were at: -31.958, 153.107.
