The day club celebrated 25 years of service to Old Bar's senior community by hosting a special function at the Old Bar Soldiers Memorial Hall.
Club members past and present reminisced and were joined by members of other clubs from throughout the region, as well as the children of previous members of the Barwalla day club.
Barwalla day club co-ordinator Carole Costa was one of the long-time members on hand to celebrate 25 years of providing a weekly outing for the elderly of the Manning Valley.
And it was a special presentation of the club's history which brought the memories flooding back for the dedicated club member of 14 years.
"We had a wonderful DVD made by one of our members, which was beautifully put together, she said.
"It had footage of our previous members as well as the new committee, and it had music and the first song which played was 'The Way We Were', which was very fitting.
"Everyone was amazed at how beautifully it was put together, and it was the highlight for me because it brought back memories of my 14 years there."
Mrs Costa said her time at Barwalla had been a special time of her life.
"Just being there and making their Mondays special for them, it's so important to provide an opportunity to have their outings," she said.
The Barwalla day club hold activities each Monday at the Old Bar Soldiers Memorial Hall.
