Warwick Farm trainers Marc Connors with Letchworth, Heaven's Riches for Michael Costa and Adenarius for Gregory Minns represent that track whereas now regular visiting Hawkesbury trainer Garry Frazer has nominated last start city fourth dead-heater Scottish Border.

Done Nothin' Wrong has been consistent over the distance of the cup and is part-owned by racing television personality Richard Callander, son of renowned newspaper racing journalist, Ken Callander.

It is thought that Sydney jockey Blake Shinn will take the ride.

Last year's cup runner-up to Wyong gelding Gazza Guru, Taree's Phrases, trained by Bindi Cheers, heads a strong local contingent.

Phrases went on to win the Port Macquarie Cup and has won and been placed in Sydney in recent runs.

Cheers won the cup with Quadri in 2003.

The winner of the Taree Cup Prelude, gelding Onemore Eightmore, trained by Bob Milligan, is in solid form but will be on trial at the distance but is by great stayer Octagonal.

Consistent Port Macquarie gelding Juste Si, with two wins and three second pacings in its past five starts for trainer John Sprague will also be on trial at the distance but does always finish strongly in its races. Cessnock trainer Jeremy Sylvester has nominated Collar and the Cessnock Cup winning mentor may be able to snare his mate, jockey Robert Thompson, for the ride now that his cup mount, Coffs Harbour Cup winner Southern Shimmer, trained at Taree by Ross Stitt, is under an injury cloud and will not start.

Another galloper from the Coffs Cup, a Sydney winner, is seven-year-old Gosford gelding Frozen Rope, trained by Adam Duggan who has a lot of luck at the track.

Broadmeadow trainers Kris Lees with Slivovitz and Steve Hodge with Lucky Ima Cugat, along with Gosford trainer Kristen Buchanan, have solid chances.

The club has received 216 nominations for Friday's TAB meeting,just over 20 for the cup,and about 150 nominations for Sunday's other races, total prizemoney for the two days being $300,000.
