HOT on the heels of their win at the Taree and District Eisteddfod and a great result at the Sydney Eisteddfod, the St Joseph's Primary School dance group is excited to perform again.

As one of the acts in the Rotary Manning Valley Schools Spectacular, the students who range in age from year three to year six have been working with dance teacher Susanne Heiss every Tuesday at lunchtime in preparation.

Their modern expressive routine was choreographed to the Taylor Swift song, The Best Day.

Over consecutive years the school's dance troupe has been a consistent winner of the primary schools dance section at the Taree Eisteddfod.

For the first time this year they travelled to Sydney to dance in the eisteddfod against 40 other schools and were thrilled to come within two marks of a highly commended.

The Rotary Manning Valley Schools Spectacular is on at the Manning Entertainment Centre on Wednesday August 27 with concerts at 11am and 7pm.

Tickets are available online through the Manning Entertainment Centre or from Movies Games and More in Victoria Street, Taree.
