General manager of MidCoast Water, Robert Loadsman, made a presentation of a plaque to Cr Hogan to recognise the contribution to the water and sewer authority.
“Paul has been an integral part of our board for 10 years, and during that time demonstrated a true commitment to the community, our organisation and staff,” Mr Loadsman explained.
Cr Hogan was first elected as one of Greater Taree City Council delegates to the MidCoast Water board in 2004, and it was a position he held continuously until May this year when he stood down from the role.
Mr Loadsman paid tribute to Cr Hogan’s contribution to the board, saying that both his local and industry experience had provided a valuable addition to the board.
“While Paul’s resignation from the board was accepted with regret, we do understand the enormous constraints on his time as mayor of Greater Taree City Council and are appreciative of the time he has devoted to our board over his years of involvement.”
Mr Loadsman said the organisation was pleased to welcome Cr Alan Tickle to the board as Cr Hogan’s replacement and looked forward to working with him over the next two years of the board’s term.
