MANNING Hospital is Masters Taree's latest target for community assistance with the retailer recently coming to the aid of the hospital's garden maintenance.

Craig Greenaway is Masters' landscape specialist when, after 20 years experience in landscaping he decided he'd try his hand at retail.

Craig was chatting with hospital maintenance manager Graham Pitman recently, who mentioned the hospital could use some assistance with different gardens and Masters were more than happy to come on board.

Last friday Craig spent the morning at the hospital's main entrance, clearing, weeding, pruning, mulching and planting using all supplies and equipment generously donated by Masters.

"We're more than happy to do our bit to help out the local hospital," explained Craig.

"I'll be stopping in every couple of weeks now to make sure the garden is looked after and maintained and if anything needs to be done then I'll come over and do it and Masters will supply my time and the materials, it's a great project and a great new partnership for us."

One of the features of Craig's work on Friday was the addition of two special Daniel Morcombe roses.

Proceeds from the sale of the roses at Masters will go to the Daniel Morcombe foundation.
