Tammy started work recently. She is formerly from Armidale, where she ran a gym for five years, and more recently Brisbane.
"My background is in sales and marketing,'' she explained.
Tammy is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
"We haven't had an advisory committee in place for some time,'' she explained.
"So that's one of the things I want to get going. I'll be happy to speak to anyone in the community who wants to be involved.''
Tammy's husband, Adam, is a former Wingham boy. The Homewoods are living in Wingham and their two children attend St Joseph's Primary School in Wingham.
Tammy said she wants to give the PCYC a facelift and hopes to get more organisations using the facilities there.
"We have a great setup here,'' she said.
