The concert is being held to commemorate the centenary of the start of WWI, with the music selection drawing inspiration for some of the darkest episodes of the 20th century.
Tickets range from $32 to $40 and the concert will begin at 8pm.
Featuring works by Ravel, Elgar, and R Strauss, the musicians performing, who are all aged under 30, represent the best of the new generation of classical music in Australia.
Each was selected from a gruelling audition process, involving hundreds of applicants, to participate in the SSO Fellowship a musician-training program that sees each of the fellows work full-time with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for a year.
