Robin and Kyle Thomas of the Mid North Coast Murray Grey Breed Promotion Group will be holding the event at their Hillside Farm in Hillville.
With many of the local Murray Grey farmers retiring Kyle said the emphasis is on promoting the breed to the young.
Wingham High School showed two of the group's Murray Greys at Wingham Beef Week in May winning Champion Carcass.
"It's really good to see the kid's showing Murray Greys and doing so well with them," said Kyle.
"They work so hard."
But the group are well aware of the costs involved for the teams.
To raise and feed cattle and travel for competitions requires product and cash.
However the local Murray Grey breed promotion group think the students are worth going the extra mile for.
"They're the kids that are going to carry on," said Kyle.
"They need all the help they can get."
The cost of the fundraiser lunch is just $17.50 per person which includes a three course home cooked meal, glass of wine and three raffle tickets.
The main raffle prize is 10 bags of organic fertilizer donated by Earth Repair Nabiac.
There is also a locally made Murray Grey head front gate sign up for auction.
Guest speakers on the day will be Charlie Cassels from Wingham High School and Wingham Beef Week committee.
All welcome.
