Roberts was cited following the Macleay-Old Bar game last Sunday and charged with contrary conduct. He received a two game ban.
However, he later protested that he hasn't been sent off in five years. This includes stints in Group Three, Newcastle and Group Two. If he can find evidence to support this, he will be back on the field the following weekend.
In a busy night for the judiciary three players were let off after being sent off in the Macleay-Old Bar game, won by Old Bar.
They were Macleay Valley's Anthony Cowan and Adam Dixon and Old Bar's Shaun Carr. Cowan was charged with elbowing, Dixon and Carr with striking.
The judiciary viewed a DVD of the game before making the decision. Referee Warren Holstein was unable to attend as he was away with work commitments.
