While St Clare's is rightly proud of the school's academic achievements, it also aims to provide a full and holistic learning experience for the children. The lunchtime visit by the puppies, aged 6 to 7 weeks old, reinforces another set of "Rs" - rights, responsibility and relationships.
Through interaction with the gorgeous "fluff balls" the students learn about sympathetic handling, gentle behaviours and the need to interact in a positive manner with all God's creatures.
