United downed the former co-leader Camden Haven 2-0 while Wallis Lake defeated Taree 3-1. The loss was Taree's second in a row.
A 2-1 win for Old Bar over Port FC and Port Saints' 4-0 thumping of Kempsey Saints has relegated Wingham to last spot after the Warriors were beaten 4-2 by Macleay Valley.
Wallis Lake and Port United have 16 points with Camden Haven on 13. The field bunches up after that with Taree and Kempsey Saints nine, Port FC eight, Macleay Valley seven, Old Bar and Port Saints six and Wingham five.
Old Bar and Macleay will play the final 37 minutes of the game called off on May 28, on Saturday at Old Bar. The match will resume with the score at 0-0.
This will be the only premier league game played during the long weekend.
