As part of the stage one works, four areas will be changed over first, including:
-Pulteney Street, between Victoria and River Streets
-Manning Street, between Albert and Victoria Streets
-Albert Street, between Manning and Macquarie Streets
-Macquarie Street, between Albert and Victoria Streets
Works for stage one will be performed on weekends in late June, weather permitting, to minimise disruption to shoppers and retailers.
In addition to providing consistent parking in the CBD, nose-to-kerb also reduces fumes for pedestrians and adjacent businesses and allows drivers to see impediments on sidewalks more easily.
