MACLEAY made it four wins from as many starts when thrashing Port City in week four of the Wingham Services Club Group Three Rugby League competition at Kempsey.
The Mustangs bolted in 56-16 against a side minus up to nine regular first graders.
Wauchope had to battle before overcoming a determined Taree City side 20-12 in the game played at the Jack Neal Oval, the match marred by a serious leg injury sustained to promising Taree City fullback Todd Northam.
Wingham moved into outright third with a hard fought and high scoring 42-34 win over Old Bar at Old Bar while Port Sharks scored their maiden win of the season when defeating Forster-Tuncurry 40-10 at Port Macquarie.
Macleay leads the competition on 12 points with Wauchope on 11. Both sides are unbeaten. Wingham follows on 10.
In the representative clash at Wauchope on Saturday Group Three overpowered Group Two to win 44-20 after the scores were locked at 14-14 at halftime.
