Last month Kylie travelled from Wingham to Moore Park with Bound for Glory to attend the championships and came home with the coveted title of best kitten in show.
Kylie said just under 200 rabbits were on exhibition at the super show and after Bound for Glory took out the best dwarf lop kitten title it meant that he was in the running for best kitten in show.
She said he was judged against the best in the Fur, Fancy and Rex sections in the contest to take out the top title.
For Kylie the win was an unexpected delight as she has only been breeding and showing rabbits for less than a year.
"I breed both mini-lop and dwarf lop rabbits. Rabbits are judged to a standard of perfection, in the same way as dogs, cats and poultry are assessed and score points according to the standard," Kylie explained.
She added that she was a member of the NSW Rabbit Association and the Rabbit Exhibitors and Breeders Society and shows regularly at both clubs.
