The congestion of Triple C was insane, along with the madness at the bottom of Victoria Street and throught out Centeppoint Arcade. Many arrived early in the day with parking, while buses from outside areas also reported a brisk trade.
Casa-Loco, Indulge, Suzannegrae, Iguana, Best and Less and Saltwater Wine were some of many stores invaded by shoulder to shoulder customers looking for a good bargain.
Youths flooded the steets in large groups taking advantage of the low prices, as did parents and grandparents. Other just soaked up the sunlight and buskers' songs.
Popular specials at Bakers Delight included four finger buns for just $3 and a cheese and bacon rolls with a can of coke for $3.50. Prouds Jewellers had sales of up to 40 percent off!
Crazy Day has been going since 1986 and will be back again in 2013. You can bank on that.
