A HUSBAND and wife from Taree will be among the starters in Sunday's Australian Ironman Triathlon to be held at Port Macquarie.
Both Glenda and Garry Hutchinson have tackled the 3.8km swim, 185km swim and 42.2km run at Port Macquarie previously.
There's be a solid representation of Greater Taree triathletes in the field.
Other starters the Times knows of are Matt Watson, Gerry Ryan and Michael Farrow from Wingham, Troy and Vanessa Croker from Oxley Island and Matt Worth from Diamond Beach.
A field of around 2000 will start in the event, which will be underway from 6.30 with the swim.
This includes defending champion Luke Bell, who is the favourite.
