Each high school class was given the challenge to raise as much money as they could by bringing in their loose change over a three week period.
The more money each class raised, the more year 12 boys would put their legs on the line and have their shins waxed by an expert team of staff from the college.
A total of $2500 was raised for the Leukaemia Foundation resulting in 12 brave senior boys taking the stage to lose their leg hairs.
Mr Green, the head of secondary, also offered up one of his legs to be waxed, while teacher Adam Duffy volunteered to have his beard and head shaved.
Many thanks must go to Mark Wells from Mark's barber shop in Taree who gave up his time to do the job.
A great afternoon was had by all, the best part was the generosity of so many of the students.
