TAREE barefoot skier Kye Cornall was a member of the Australian junior team that won a gold medal at the World Barefoot Championships held in Mulwala in Victoria.

Kye was competing at this level for the first time.
He was also third overall in the junior boys.
His sister, Makayla, was fifth overall in the junior girls.
She qualified to compete at the championships but wasn't a member of the Australian team.
The Cornalls will now contest the State titles at Liverpool on April 5 and 6 before heading to Perth for the five day nationals beginning on April 28.
The next world championship will be held in the USA in 2016. Kye will be looking to gain selection in the Australian open team for this event while Makayla will still be eligible for the juniors.
