The work will be done from the Pacific Highway interchange roundabout at Taree south for about two kilometres towards Malcolms Road and according to Phil Miles, Greater Taree City Council's senior leader asset planning, and will involve altered traffic conditions with delays to motorists being expected.
Mr Miles said that before work begins variable message boards would be put in place to notify road users of the disruptions. He added that the contractors were required, as part of their traffic management plan, to notify directly affected residents, businesses, and other essential and community services.
